Common questions, straight answers.
About Provo Canyon, the Vesper proposal, and how decisions about this place get made.
Provo Canyon is a steep-walled canyon in the Wasatch Range that carries US-189, the Provo River, and the Union Pacific railroad between Utah Valley and the Heber Valley. It is home to Bridal Veil Falls, Mount Timpanogos, Sundance Resort, Deer Creek Reservoir, and miles of trails, climbing routes, and fishing access.
For Utah County residents, the canyon is both a backyard and a gateway: it is a commuting corridor, a water source, a recreation area, and an emergency route through the mountains.
